Garth Turner’s much anticipated news conference today contained the salacious bombshell that…wait for it…backbench MPs don’t have much power in Ottawa! WOW! I must say it was quite courageous of Garth to take up the plight of the independent MP after he became an independent MP. It reminds me of how he valiantly criticized Harper’s Cabinet appointments after Garth was left out of Cabinet himself.

Some people are saying that Garth’s press conference today was the biggest letdown since Phantom Menace. Bollocks! I had never understood the unavailing life of the independent MPs before Garth’s press conference today and I’m glad he’s provided me with these useful insights.
