There’s another election going on – the final five nominees have been announced in all categories for the Canadian Blog Awards. I’m very pleased to see this blog nominated for:

Best Blog
Best Progressive Blog
Best Blog Post Series (for the Greatest Prime Minister series)

I’ll take a look at the whole field later this week, but for now I encourage you to go and vote. As for why you should vote for this blog, consider the following:

1. If you google “David Herle”, this blog comes up second
2. David Herle is an egomaniac
3. Therefore, David Herle has obviously googled himself and seen this blog
4. I have writen less than flatering things about David Herle
5. Therefore, if this blog won “Best Blog”, it would certainly piss off David Herle
